Human Resource forms a company's competitive advantage and holds the key to its sustainability and scalability, especially amidst these trying times. This concentrates and magnifies the need to recruit the best resources with minimum time and maximum ease. To effectively address this core concern of all of our recruiting partners, the MBA Placement Office (MPO) was formed under Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), LUMS in April 2009. The MPO aims to provide its recruiting partners with an exclusive platform to target, identify and recruit quality MBA resources.

The creation of MPO is a result of painstaking deliberation and effort. Employer feedback and recommendations have consistently contributed to this development. MPO is determined to make its systems even more interactive so as to deliver best on your exact requirements.

At MPO we follow a sector wise approach with each recruitment executives dedicated for one or more sectors where they work very closely with pertinent recruiting partners and interested students to bridge the gap between the requirements and needs of both. Each executive is committed to facilitating his/her recruiting partners in meeting their recruiting objectives most efficiently and precisely.

In line with its mission to serve you better, MPO has adopted several key initiatives in its work cycle. These include:

• Professional and Personal Development Modules for students. These cover training workshops by industry experts and industry awareness s panel discussions by senior alumni and HR professionals
• Sector-wise MBA Networking Nights
• MBA Recruiter's Guide which is our annual publication that serves as a guideline and provides information for recruiters seeking MBA graduates, including other avenues of partnering with SDSB
• MPO website catering to students, recruiters, alumni and industry mentors
• MPO Newsletter (weekly/fortnightly editions)

The MPO recruitment/internship cycle extends from November till June every year. During this period, MPO offers extensive support to its recruiting partners throughout their recruitment process; both on- and/or off-campus support. However, our dedicated team of executives is available round the year to assist you with all your hiring objectives.
